Shri Deepak Ranjan Dehuri is the Chief Executive Officer of BRBCL since April 2025. Prior to joining BRBCL, he has served in various NTPC projects including Badarpur, Talcher Thermal, Talcher Kaniha, Solapur, Barh, Mouda, ER1-HQ Patna.


He has an illustrious career spanning over three decades in the power sector. He started his career in 1986 as an Engineer Trainee with NTPC and has worked his way through various ranks in projects of NTPC.


He has held key roles such as Desk Engineer, Unit Controller, Shift Charge Engineer, Head of Operation & Maintenance, and CGM, demonstrating expertise in electrical maintenance, operations, planning, and safety management.


He has exposure of working at Reginal Centre (ER1-HQ) in Operation Services department where in monitoring of Company’s functions is being carried out and strategic initiatives taken.


He graduated in electrical engineering and has undergone Management Education Program from Pondicherry University.

He has launched a series of initiatives to sustain BRBCL's growth and bring about cultural changes necessary to maintain BRBCL's position as a leading global energy company.


His strong focus on increasing competitive edge helped BRBCL winning various awards and recognition which was instrumental for BRBCL to emerge as a strong player in power generation. His thrust on minimizing environmental footprint, maximizing sustainability efforts and a focussed approach of ‘Low-Cost Low Emission’ aligns with India’s ambitious target of cleaner and affordable power for all.
