Shri A. Sundaresan (DIN : 11904722), IRSEE Executive Director, Electrical Energy Management, Railway Board has appointed in the Board of Bhartiya Rail Bijlee Company Limited (BRBCL) as the Nominee Director of the Ministry of Railways with effect from August 20, 2026.
Shri Sundaresan is a senior officer of the 2000 batch of IRSEE with over 24 years of experience in railway electrification, electric locomotive maintenance, traction distribution, and large‑scale infrastructure projects. A topper of his batch, he holds advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering and Power Systems from IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay, and has been recognized with multiple awards for meritorious service and technical excellence.
