Smt. Sushuma Kumari (DIN: 11378016) has appointed Director of BRBCL w.e.f. 1st September 2026. She is presently leading the Renewable Energy Asset Management Group at NTPC Green Energy Limited, a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, managing more than 10 GW of renewable energy assets .
She holds an M. Tech. in Power Generation Technology from IIT Delhi and brings over 33 years of experience in the power sector. Her expertise spans across digital transformation of power plant operations, with a focus on enhancing safety, reliability, monitoring, maintenance optimization, emission control, and regulatory compliance.
She has a strong interest in emerging technologies. She actively leverages AI/ML-driven solutions for real-time monitoring of renewable energy assets, enabling enhanced operational visibility, performance optimization, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making to improve plant reliability and efficiency. Her work focuses on integrating advanced digital technologies with renewable energy operations to drive innovation and operational excellence.
